Au Clair De La Lune was written for Chor Leoni’s annual C/4 Composition Competition and performed in Vancouver, BC on June 14th, 2024. The funny story was that June 14th was my birthday – the other part of the funny story was that it was also the birthday of another participant, Laura Hawley – the other part of the other part of that funny story was that we were both turning the same age, forty-two (A very special number to Douglas Adam’s fans, as we all know).
